Week 16 - Chemistry - Yr 2

Know the carbohydrates

Learn about the different types of sugar

Learn about the uses of paper


Activities


Go through test on petrochemicals (40 mins)

Copy the diagram for the branched tree of sugars, monosacchirides, polysacchirides, etc

Review break down of long chain sugars into smaller molecules by enzymes

Learn about the use of paper and where it comes from - link to citizenship, environment
