Each group should nominate a director, a costumes director, and a set designer to produce an interesting array of set, costumes, lighting, music, sound and movement for their piece (costumes cupboard can be used but some resources may need to be brought in by the students)

Congratulations to everyone who took part in auditions for The Crucible this week, there was so much amazing talent out there that we are going to find the play incredibly difficult to cast!!! I was really impressed by your sketches on "The Inquisition" and you can tell that many of you have worked really hard on this text in English classes.

Please don't worry if you don't get a speaking part in this play! For those of you that remember very few people had speaking parts in Tone Clusters, which was the IB performance around the same time last year. There will be other activities with Drama Company once the ball is rolling with The Crucible. We will put on a comedy show with classic sketches and mimes, some of which we may contribute to the Christmas Concert. There will also be another show following the Crucible for performance in June that will hopefully be more inclusive.

You will all be involved in the Crucible somehow even if it is helping Courtney with costumes, or Ivan with the technical sides of the production. Some of you will know by Thursday, whether or not you have a speaking part, but there may be more auditions and callbacks for some of you then as well.
